When an agent asks us for proof of licensing, we don’t point to a logo — we show the document. Jem Travel holds International Tour Operator Licence No. 01-2615/2024/CDLQGVN-GP LHQT, issued by Vietnam’s National Administration of Tourism, authorizing us to design and operate international tour packages across Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

This isn’t a formality we mention in passing. Operating internationally without this licence is not legally possible in Vietnam, and the process to obtain it requires demonstrating operational capacity, financial standing, and a qualified team — not simply registering a business name. For an agent entrusting us with their clients, it’s the baseline guarantee that the ground partner behind the itinerary is accountable to Vietnamese regulatory authorities, not an informal operator working outside the system.

We publish the licence itself, not just a reference to it, because we’d rather an agent verify our standing directly than take our word for it.
